Research Figuring out how to start my opening sequence was difficult as it would instantly set the theme and tone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8twthdaqB8 After watching several opening sequences I decided to go for a mysterious start. To achieve I included no introductory music and a small section of audio indicating typing. By only having this section of audio singled out it draws importance to it. Usually opening sequences will have an establishing shot to show where the part of the film will be based. In my opening frequency I combined different aspects to show that my film concept darts around places. This goes hand in hand with the pace of the sequence was it goes from slow to fast showing chaos, disorientating the audience. Films will usually show credits during the opening but as I didn't have any production and actors I was able to fill it with a basis of text; ''The world thrives on technology'' and ''And the technology has chang...

When creating the poster I had to become familiar with Photoshop. Two sections were split from where I was working. In college I completed the base of my poster and at home I finished the poster on Photoshop. With the help of a friend I was able to pick up the more technical aspects of Photoshop. For example I was learning the use of curves and how they alter colour as well as how to screen layers. It allowed me to create certain effects with my poster that added to the story and allowed me to not have less blocky pictures. In my poster I used guidelines to allow me to portion my poster fairly so one side isn't heavier than the other. I was able to centralise the poster with an image of Henry Cavill. My images do not leak off of the page and fit smoothly in each section. My poster gives a small hint towards the ''film'' without revealing too much. The story of the poster is that a man is caught between his military background and his desire to fight again along...

In 2014, 15-24 year olds made up the largest proportion of the UK cinema audience, at 31%. ■ UK films were popular across all demographic groups, with a particularly strong appeal for those aged 55 and above. Cinema-goers in this age group also showed a strong preference for UK independent films. ■ 22 Jump Street had the largest above-average audience share among the 15-24 age group, while Mr. Turner had the largest share among cinema-goers aged 55 and above. ■ A wide range of genres appealed to women, whereas men were drawn to films with a strong action element. ■ UK films attracted above-average audiences across the nations and regions with the exception of the South East and West and South West. ■ Black and minority ethnic groups were over-represented among cinema-goers, video rental and digital film consumers; disabled audiences were over-represented amongst video buyers. From this I am able to see that most people that watch comedies are teenagers or young adul...

A press release is an official statement issued to newspapers giving information on a particular matter. The press releases shown here are forwarding information about technology companies, art foundation and mobile technology to improve addiction treatment outcomes. I believe they work as all three have non-obnoxious logo ’ s and pictures so they aren ’ t distracting. The colours are also not very bold so they allow you to read without a bright force on the page. It allows for all areas of the press release to have an equal amount of page dominance. When creating my Press release I chose to have two columns of words and images. It allows me to provide more breathing space. This breathing space is present in the header of my press release. The header of ‘’Liam’’ and the small subtitle ‘‘my life’’ gives a subtle overall summary of the press release. The Type style for the header was used as it has a Italian style and I am ...
